South Africa we have come a long way ,
Back from apartheid right into democracy .
Education is an enjoyment to most of us .
Back from Bantu education straight to curriculum 2005 .
Expression comes with an ease ,
Comprehension is an ally ,
Reading is a skill ,
Critics are seeing black ...
Alluding their reasons to chaos and crisis in education .
But to some of us there is a spark of hope ,
A light at the end of a tunnel .
For many have come out victorious , with efforts to up the pass rate ,
Striving to turn around from poor performances . steady but still progress voted ...
Rise South Africa rise ...
From Melrose , moribund hopelessness , into hope beyond farthorm ...
Yes all that was fleeting , temporal , evanescent , ephemeral !
